This helps me keep the ViewCube in place but also avoid it getting in the way. One of the things I like to do is adjust the size of the ViewCube AutoCAD. And if you want to start from scratch, you can always Restore Defaults and adjust again as needed. So whatever it is you need to adjust and customize AutoCAD’s ViewCube, you can do so here. The options above give you the ability to adjust opacity, position, and other detailed options. You should see a dialog box that looks like this Enter the “NAVVCUBE” command > Type “settings” and press Enter.Find the section for 3D Navigation, and select “ViewCube”

You have two options for toggling the ViewCube AutoCAD on or off: Show or Hide the ViewCube AutoCAD in the Current Drawing If that’s you, I’m going to show you how to get rid of that ViewCube – or if you’re feeling up to it, how you can make it larger. Joking aside, the ViewCube is available for all AutoCAD users by default and is helpful for keeping your drawings “upright.” However, it’s more useful for those that work in a 3D drawing environment, and not so much for 2D drafters.
